Gold Rush
The gold rush was discovered in 1858 at Hills Bar. Sometimes
miners killed other miners to steal their gold and come by riches. Greedily, they bet to obtain more gold. They
travelled the harsh weather and advanced from all over. Some people came from Victoria on the S.S.
Beaver and then walked or sat on horses all the way to Williams Creek. It was a time of confusion and greed.
