This is me watching and guessing which marble will go the fastest. I was wrong when I said the straight one because it was the bendy one. It went faster because it got more speed and it was like Newton's first law.
This is me trying to see which things are attracted to the magnet.
This is the vacuum tube. I liked it because when I put the balls in and you shut the door, the air comes in and the balls go so fast through the tubes. It almost bursts through the plastic!!
Nice pictures Alex - I liked how much fun you seem to be having and how you linked what you experimented with to what you are learning about motion.
ReplyDeleteYou'd think the bent track would slow the marble down on the uphill, but at the end it actually goes faster- who knew! Sometimes you have to do an experiment to see what your mind can't figure out on it's own!!
