Basketball

 On Monday nights from 7 to 9:00 PM we do a basketball activity where we go to a school that our coaches have rented out for the night. They teach us basketball and we play a game. I really enjoy it and they encourage us to practice.  It's a fun experience and I enjoy it. There are many things the coaches have taught us like handling, footwork, screaming, shooting and passing.

Remembrance Day

 Remembrance Day is a day to remember those who died in the war for our sake and a day to give thanks to those brave and courageous souls who fought in war. Remembrance Day is not just about World War 2 but it is a day to give thanks for all wars including the one in Ukraine and the one in Israel. It is also for many more that have and are being fought today.

 Sign language is the language that deaf and mute people use. Most often deaf people can use ASL. A lot of people think that to get someone who's deaf or mute to understand you, you just talk extremely slowly. This however is not the case. There are multiple different versions of sign language, there's ASL, BSL and many more. Not only death and blind people can learn it. If you have the patience, you can learn ASL, BSL or more by yourself

Nutrition Connected with Mental Health

Nutrition is a very important factor of mental health. Vitamins like Vitamin B help with anxiety emotions tiredness and a couple more. Another important thing is sleep and water. With lack of sleep you can get extremely tired emotions and a hard person to be around.  The same thing with out water.
Three things that I am going to do to help with me is eat more eggs because it carries vitamin B, get good sleep and drink more water. 
Another major factor of mental health is exercise. Exercise can help a lot because when you're depressed, you don't want to do a thing and you just want to stay in bed all day. Exercise can help you get back into feeling good. There is also an important way of thinking so instead of thinking upon your past mistakes and dwelling on them, what you should do is learn from them and figure out what you could do next time to not make this mistake twice. You should also not look into the future because that makes you anxious about things to come and this gives you anxiety but if you don't think about the future as much, it will be harder for anxiety to creep in. The final way of thinking is the way you should be thinking. What should you do is focus on that day or that moment. You make your best decisions when you are not under a lot of anxiety.
