  Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, also known as ADHD, makes it so I have a tough time focusing, and I am constantly active even if I am tired. This makes doing certain things a lot harder and other things easier. Things that are easier for me are things I enjoy doing, like video games, because I can hyper-focus on those things. Things that are harder are things I do not want to do like, like math, and my Brain just chooses to tune all of that out. I take meds that help me focus, but the problem is the current ones we take are the best ones, but they make me feel really sick when I take them. My doctor is getting us new pills so we can try them. Some strategies we use are 20-10.  You work for 20 minutes, then take a ten-minute break.  It's also helpful to get all the hard subjects done first while my brain is fresh.

energy

A force is a push or a pull.

Energy is the ability to do work.

work = force x distance.

Kinetic energy can move something with a force.

This energy of position is called potential energy.

Energy cannot be created or destroyed, But it changes from one form of energy to another..

Health Goal

 For Techlab this year, the first main project that we have to work on is setting a smart goal. The goal I set is to eat healthier with more vegetables and fruits, more foods with vitamins, and two bottles of water a day. I have set this time the smart goal to and is on February 15th at exactly 1:20 pm for when it ends.

- need more water

- need more fruits and veggies

- need more vitamins and minerals

Mexico

 We went to Mexico for the first week in January. In total, it was 10 hours of travel time just to get there.  It would have been a lot longer if we had chosen to drive! We spent five hours on the plane and 5 hours driving. When we did get to Mexico, it was nighttime because of the two-hour difference. When we made it to our resort, our dad got us an upgrade to the family side. The family side gave us access to an entirely other pool and to reserve restaurants whenever we wanted. It was a lot of fun and there was a lot of cool stuff that they had including a game room. It was right next to the beach, and they had free paddle boards, pools with swim-up bars, and free room service. We only left the resort once to go to a farmers market and I bought a ring. We ended up having a lot of fun!

Basketball

 On Monday nights from 7 to 9:00 PM we do a basketball activity where we go to a school that our coaches have rented out for the night. They teach us basketball and we play a game. I really enjoy it and they encourage us to practice.  It's a fun experience and I enjoy it. There are many things the coaches have taught us like handling, footwork, screaming, shooting and passing.

Remembrance Day

 Remembrance Day is a day to remember those who died in the war for our sake and a day to give thanks to those brave and courageous souls who fought in war. Remembrance Day is not just about World War 2 but it is a day to give thanks for all wars including the one in Ukraine and the one in Israel. It is also for many more that have and are being fought today.

 Sign language is the language that deaf and mute people use. Most often deaf people can use ASL. A lot of people think that to get someone who's deaf or mute to understand you, you just talk extremely slowly. This however is not the case. There are multiple different versions of sign language, there's ASL, BSL and many more. Not only death and blind people can learn it. If you have the patience, you can learn ASL, BSL or more by yourself
