Davison Orchards

I liked going to the apple orchards because it was fun.  It was exciting because I got to feed a goat and go on a train ride to pick apples.  I learned how to pick an apple.  You have to turn the eye to the sky and the apple will pop off.  I picked all Honey Crisp but two Royal Gala.

This Week

I liked building with Keva planks because it is fun!

I made a paper digger this week.  I liked making it because it was fun and the wheels and scoop can actually move.

I liked making this polar bear art because it was fun and it looked really good.  Mikayla made the baby bear template and I got to use it.  Mommy made the big bear template and I used it too.

This Week

I like to explore my community because it is fun and you learn new things.  I like to explore parks, the library, and new stores.  I even like to explore new restaurants.
This week I got to sleep over at my nanny and Bupee's motorhome.  I liked it because I got to watch two movies.  The last unicorn and Avengers of the Universe.  I also got to go to the bike park and go swimming.

Nomads and Read-Aloud

"I like nomads because they used to walk around with their houses.  When they found a good place they would drink water from streams and would hunt lizards and deer and get wild honey and eat all sorts of food. They made bricks out of mud that they shaped into bricks and they put it out in the sun to dry.  They did not have electricity back then and they probably didn't have shoes.  Their clothes was cloths around their body."

"In Edge of Extinction, there was a girl named Sky Mundy and her dad had disappeared about five years ago.  Her friend Shawn found a note form her dad in the back of her dad's compass that was in the secret journal.  She went on a mission and so far she has found her dad but her dad just got killed. A guy named Noah said that nobody could live top side but Sky Mundy lived top side.  Todd and the tree villagers had a tracking device in him and then they had tracked Shawn from the tracking device and they found a secret underwater lab and it got exploded.  Right now, they got to the east compound and they are escaping and Todd's village is not captured anymore.  They are camping out in the east compound.  Their arch nemesis in the story, his name was Kennedy.  He has gotten killed and today we're going to finish the book!"
